Know More About Our Wood
We use Rub wood and Forest Teakwood for all our furniture.
Rub wood
Rubber wood is a light hardwood which comes in whitish yellow or pale cream color when freshly cut and later changes to light straw or light brown. It is a moderately hard and light to moderately heavy timber. Rubber wood furniture is strong, inexpensive, stays pretty good for several years, can take some rough handling and is also environmentally friendly.
It is widely used for furniture and cabinet making, flooring, packing cases, wood carvings, wooden shuttle block, laminated veneer lumber, veneer and plywood, block board and flush doors, fiber boards, medium density fiber board and hard boards, pulp and paper bent wood articles, etc
Teakwood
Teak is renowned for its elegance, durability and adaptability. Apart from its beauty, it also possesses some natural properties that other woods lack in. Teak wood has the ability to retain natural oils and rubber even after being felled and processed. As a result of this, teak has greater weather-resistant and anti fungal properties as compared to others. This makes it ideal for using as outdoor furniture .Although teak can be expensive, it can be extremely strong and durable too.
The colour of teak wood attracts furniture makers and home owners alike. Whilst outdoor teak furniture gains elegant silver-grey color overtime, teak used for indoor purposes is often oiled to retain its warm golden color.

The style of catering directly impacts the atmosphere and formality of your private event. Reputable London Ontario caterers offer a variety of service styles to match any occasion.
Plated (or Seated) Service: This is the most formal style, where guests are served individual courses directly at their tables. It offers an elegant, controlled dining experience and requires fewer food quantities but more service staff. It is the preferred choice for formal weddings and high-end corporate dinners.
Buffet Service: This is a more casual, social, and cost-effective style. Food is laid out at stations, and guests serve themselves. It offers menu variety and caters well to large groups or diverse tastes. Modern caterers often elevate the buffet with attractive presentations and carving stations.
Family Style: Serving platters are brought to each table, and guests pass them around. This style encourages conversation and a sense of communal dining, offering a balance between the formality of plated service and the casualness of a buffet.
Cocktail Receptions (Passed Appetizers): Ideal for networking events, product launches, or pre-dinner mingling. It involves circulating servers offering a selection of bite-sized hors d'oeuvres.
It is imperative to
undertake a thorough evaluation of the caterer before making a final decision
based on your event's requirements and expectations. Begin by evaluating their
reputation and experience in the industry, obtaining reviews and references
from previous clients to evaluate their service quality and professionalism.
Assess the caterer's menu options and their ability to accommodate dietary
restrictions and event themes. Additionally, request a tasting session to
experience their cuisine firsthand. When selecting a caterer, it is important
to evaluate their presentation and manner to ensure that they can adapt their
services to the aesthetic of your event. Enquire about the employment levels
and service capabilities to ensure that there is an adequate number of trained
personnel to manage your event efficiently.
validate their availability for the date of your event and validate their
adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Review the pricing structure
and contract provisions in detail to ensure that they are in accordance with
your expectations and budget. Lastly, evaluate their professionalism and
communication manner throughout the planning process, with a particular
emphasis on caterers who are transparent, attentive, and responsive. You can be
assured that the caterer you choose will provide an exceptional culinary
experience for your event by conducting a comprehensive assessment of these
factors.

The freshest and most flavorful catering menus are built upon high-quality, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients, which is readily available in the London Ontario region.
Many top local caterers maintain strong relationships with local farms, purveyors, and farmers’ markets throughout Southwestern Ontario. These partnerships allow them to feature farm-to-table menus with ingredients at their peak freshness, such as local produce in the summer or root vegetables in the fall. Sourcing locally not only enhances the flavor profile of the dishes but also demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and supporting the local economy.
When selecting a caterer, look for those who proudly highlight their local sourcing practices. They often list the farms or suppliers they work with, adding a story and a sense of place to your menu. This commitment to fresh, regional sourcing is what truly elevates the quality of the final product.
A standard package usually includes the food preparation, buffet setup or plated service, serving utensils, and disposable dinnerware. It may or may not include staff, linens, dishware rentals, or beverages, so always confirm the inclusions in the quote
For large private events like weddings or major corporate functions, it is highly recommended to book your preferred caterer at least six to twelve months in advance, especially during peak season
You should provide the exact guest count, the event date, the venue location, the desired service style (e.g., plated or buffet), and any known major dietary restrictions
Many professional caterers offer complete bar service, including providing licensed bartenders and managing the necessary liquor licensing or Special Occasion Permit. Always confirm their specific licensing capabilities
A buffet is typically a continuous line of food that guests access in one flow, whereas food stations are smaller, distinct setups often themed around a type of cuisine or cooking method, encouraging guests to move around and socialize
The number of staff is primarily determined by the service style and guest count. Plated dinners require the highest staff-to-guest ratio, followed by family style, while buffet service requires fewer servers but often more kitchen support
While some full-service caterers can manage all equipment rentals, others may only handle kitchen equipment, dishes, and flatware. It is essential to clarify whether rentals are included in their service or if they need to be sourced separately
A tasting is a pre-event meeting where you sample key menu items from the caterer’s proposal. It usually takes place a few months before the event to finalize the menu choices and ingredients
Professional caterers use specialized, temperature-controlled transport equipment and strict food handling protocols to maintain required hot and cold holding temperatures, ensuring food safety from the kitchen to the serving line
Yes, many caterers offer hybrid service. For example, you might have a cocktail reception with passed appetizers, followed by a formal plated salad course, and then a buffet for the main entrée, allowing for flexibility and variety
